NVAM Hosts Printmaking Workshop for Veterans in VA Care

The National Veterans Art Museum hosted a printmaking workshop on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at its location at 4041 N. Milwaukee Avenue, 2nd Floor, Chicago.
According to NVAM, the workshop invited participants to “join us at the museum before public hours to learn printmaking techniques and create handmade cards.” The cards created during the workshop were sent to veterans and their families receiving care at Jesse Brown VA and Hines VA Medical Centers, as well as to military-connected children served by the organization Kids Rank.
The event was part of NVAM’s ongoing community programming, which regularly brings veterans and community members into the museum for hands-on creative experiences.
