Dallas-Fort Worth company offers a veteran artist a solo show and $1,000

DALLAS-FORT WORTH. A veteran artist in North Texas will get a solo exhibition this fall in the on-site gallery of a Texas-based corporate client. The show runs October 26 through January 25, 2027, timed to Veterans Day.

Independent curator Kim Phan Nguyen organized the call. The artist receives a $1,000 honorarium and may be invited to give a virtual talk to the company’s nationwide leadership network. Applications were free and closed September 4. Shortlisted artists were interviewed by Zoom. The call was circulated by Women Veterans Alliance and Art News DFW. The Art News listing ties the show to the 250th anniversary of the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps.

Corporate galleries are becoming one more outlet for veteran artists, with a small fee and an audience of employees and executives rather than a museum crowd.
